Meet The Team
Pastor Ray Cluff
Ray serves as Lead Pastor and has since December of 2001. Jesus and family are his passions. Ray desires to encourage and equip families to establish discipleship in their homes and to preach relevant Biblical messages that bring people into the very presence of Jesus.
Ray was born in November of 1963 and spent his formative years in the foothills of Southeast Idaho. Although he grew up under the influence of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) and attended Ricks Jr. College, now BYU Idaho, he later met and married the beautiful Char Deal, the daughter of a Nazarene pastor, and began his journey into the Christian faith and Nazarene church. Char and Ray have four adult children (Brooke, Brandon , Brittany, and Bradley) and two grandchildren they adore (Brayson & Summit). Starting each of their kids' names with BR was Char’s idea.
Ray is a bit of a car guy and usually has a project or two going at the same time. He also loves to sit by his backyard fire pit enjoying friends. Ray is working towards several honorary graduate and postgraduate degrees from Mid-America Nazarene University, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and The Petty Online Bible School and Tire Center.
Pastor Scott Spratlen
Pastor Scott began at Heritage Hill as the Youth Pastor many years ago. When he started noticing grey hairs, he knew it was time for a younger Pastor to take that lead. He transitioned to Pastor of Technology, or Assistant (to the) Pastor.
Scott grew up in Phoenix, AZ, and God eventually called him to ministry in Nebraska - it is God’s country after all, so we aren’t surprised... he may have been though! He and his wife, Kim, of more than 20 years have two kids (Josh and Jasmine). He enjoys cheering for guys driving in circles (NASCAR) and playing 18 holes and is always the first to have, and understand, the newest gadget or gizmo.
Scott currently works full-time at TD Ameritrade as the senior manager of application development and enjoys all things tech. He works here at Heritage to keep our technology up to date and out of the dark ages.
Chuck and Robin Fowler
Chuck and Robin came to Heritage in May 2013 via the US Air Force and joined the Heritage Hill staff shortly after. In their nearly 24-year military service, which took them all around the world, they saw many hurting marriages, and learned that despite different cultures, all marriages and families need one thing in the center, Jesus.
Chuck and Robin have a passion for strengthening marriages and families in the church. They host a marriage focused small group and are part of the volunteer staff for the Family Life's Weekend to Remember marriage conferences in Nebraska. Robin also leads the Heritage@Home ministry, which exists to help our families build strong marriages and be the best disciple makers of their children.
They have 3 grown children (Ashlee, Joel and Seth) and 2 grandchildren (Winter and Hallow), whom they absolutely adore. Chuck and Robin love to travel and spend time exploring new places together. Chuck's bucket list is to attend a game at every major league baseball park in the U.S. Batter up!
Pastor Benjamin Sukraw
Pastor Ben came to Heritage Hill as the Youth Pastor in 2016. He is passionate about working with teens and growing their relationships, and also their knowledge of who God is and His purpose for their lives.
He grew up in western Nebraska in a strong Nazarene home. He is the second of four kids. He attended Mid-America Nazarene University and graduated with a degree in Bible/Theology.
By day, Ben is a professional bus driver for Bellevue Public Schools; by night, he is a gamer extraordinaire. He currently holds an undisclosed amount (he doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings) of Fortnite wins. Ben is also a movie connoisseur and enjoys all genre’s, with the exception of romance. He is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys not only watching, but playing as well. If you ever need to find Ben, he is easy to find as he is still in the process of learning how to use his inside voice.
Amanda joined our staff as Children's Director in 2018. She is passionate about Jesus and children, and children knowing Jesus! She uses her creativity and enthusiasm for life to help our children see how amazing God is.
Amanda grew up in Kearney, NE and moved with her parents and siblings to Omaha several years ago. She is the middle child of three kids and is currently finishing up her degree in Behavioral Health - with an emphasis in adolescents and children with diseases and disorders - as well as a minor in Christian studies from Grand Canyon University, which is lovingly referred to as “hole in the ground university”.
Amanda nannies a family with very active girls which suits her well as we have yet to see her sit still. You can find Amanda and her family at the stock car race track just about every weekend during the season. She also is a blogger for Fierce Fighters and writes on other various social medias. Amanda is quick with a smile, always there to encourage, listens intently and cares deeply for people.
